Care
You have to be careful with some of our beads and jewelry. This will give a list of things you can't do to our jewelry.
Amber (tree sap) and ghost beads (juniper berries)
Do not get wet. If you do get it wet, don't dry it with cleanex or towels. Don't blowdry. Do not heat. Do not burn. Do not drop into boiling water. Do not squish, squash, or otherwise mangle the beads. Do not flush down the toilet. Don't bruise, step on, or throw beads. Just be careful with them. They can break.
Pressed flowers and clovers and butterfly wings
Do not get wet. Don't scratch. Don't bend. Don't disassemble.
Repair
Most of our jewelry can be easily repaired. If a clasp came loose, all you need is some super glue. String the clasp back onto the necklace and then stick the string back through the bead. Superglue both ends of the bead. (See diagram below)
If something wirey came undone, then just use pliers to clamp it back down again.
If something else broke or if you need further help, contact us (see "Contact Us" page).
If we can't tell you how to fix the item yourself, you can send it back to us and we will fix it for you free of charge or send a replacement.
FAQ
What do I do if I get the jewelry wet that shouldn't get wet?
Shame shame. Ok, just lay it out to dry and hope for the best. It should be fine. Don't try to dry it. Handle gently until dry.
Is your jewelry made of authentic turquoise, coral, etc.?
Almost all of our jewelry is made of authentic materials, not imitation. We will specify if it is authentic or imitation.
How much does your jewelry cost?
All of our jewelry is under $20. Each one is priced differently based on its value. The average price for a necklace is about $10.
